This work investigates the nature and experience of land reform, and emerging demands for land redistribution in Zimbabwe since independence in 1980. The intention is to fill the empirical and conceptual gap which exists in land policy analysis, due to the dominance of macro-level theoretical perspectives and inadequate conceptualisation of
local land issues.
